Havana City

Havana City is the capital and almost since its founding in 1519 became the main commercial, financial center due to its favored location opposite the Straits of Florida and its magnificent bay. The capital of the island is considered one of the most important cities in America because of its historical and patrimonial legacy. Old Havana is a very visited place in Cuba and one of the most tourist places in the Caribbean. Other localities in the city are: Vedado, near all the most important and modern places of the capital, Playa (where you can find all the embassys and biggest hotels), Centro Habana, Habana del este, Cerro and Marianao.
