Hotel Encanto de La Avellaneda (also known as Hotel Tula), has been favored for its location in the legendary city of Camagüey, as well as for its name, which was inspired and pays tribute to Gertrudis Gómez de Avellaneda, one of the most outstanding writers 19th century romantics and is considered one of the greatest female poets of all time, who was born in this city.
The nine rooms are located around a colonial courtyard, which shares its style with the rest of the mansion. The entire building is decorated according to the fashion of the time and inspired by the poems of "La Peregrina" pseudonym used by "Tula" (colloquial nickname for which she was also known).
