The Brazilian airline GOL will operate soon three weekly flights between Sao Paulo and Havana, a destination that is included in the list of air openings of the company in the Caribbean, a leading airline in the Brazilian market in South America and the Caribbean, as recently announced the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) of Brazil.
The decision arose from the growing interest in increasing flight frequencies due to the recent growth in demand from the South American giant to the Caribbean. From Brazil flew only previously Copa Airlines and Cubana de Aviacion, in the first case with a daily frequency of travel to Havana with stopover in Panama.
