Hotel infrastructure in Cuba continues to grow
Sun and beach tourism continues to be the highlight of this sector in Cuba. The country is a tourist reference in the Caribbean. An example of this development are the keys of Villa Clara, since they were connected to the mainland in 1995, their progression has been unstoppable. Today they have 10 572 rooms in 17 hotels.

Of 24 rooms in 1999, 2012 was reached with 5,682 hotel rooms, the Marina, a Dolphinarium, the International Clinic and the tourist plazas La Estrella and Las Dunas. In Jardines del Rey, the Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo Hotel, with 500 rooms, was inaugurated in March 2018. The Rasa II Punta de 500 cuartos and the Pilar I of 24 are in the final stage, a high standard accommodation that is scheduled to open in September 2018.

The Ocean Arenas Blancas, with 546 rooms, next to the Quebrada hotel, announce the premiere of Cayo Cruz as a new destination in the north of Camagüey, while during the year 2018 the 638-room Iberostar Holguín will come into operation.

In Havana, for its part, the Iberostar Grand Hotel Packard, with 321 rooms, will be held soon. This hotel already generates expectations for its quality, privileged location and type of product.

In addition, it will reinforce the luxury hotel offer in the capital, started with the Grand Hotel Kempinski Apple.

Glories of yesteryear like the Gran Hotel, the building of the cigar factory Corona, the Regis Hotel, the Palacio del Cueto and the Marqués de Monte Hermoso are being intervened and reopened converted into luxury accommodations of Habaguanex, in the Historic Center of Havana.
