The hotel chains Globalia and Gran Caribe merge hotels in Varadero
The Cuban tourist destination Varadero, or the beautiful blue beach “Playa Azul” welcomes new initiatives with regard to hotel management. On this occasion, the hotel chains Globalia and the Cuban Gran Caribe merge two hotels with a great tradition of accommodation in Cuba: Villa Cuba and Las Morlas.

Both hotels, superbly located on the first stretch of beach in Varadero, are contiguous as facilities, but they were always two independently operated hotels. With the union of both hotels the new resort will have 500 rooms well equipped according to the standard four stars in accordance with the Cuban Standard of Accommodation, but in the near future, the hotels should be harmonized with the internationally accepted Standards of Globalia, its new operator.

Very close to sites of extraordinary beauty and comfort as “La Mesón del Quijote” and just some minutes from Downtown Varadero, the Canadian visitors, the main tourist market in Varadero, the largest sun & beach tourist destination in Cuba, will enjoy a fully renovated hotel adapted to the new circumstances and values proposed by the hospitality of the XXI century.
