The Cuban Tourism Minister Manuel Marrero said goodbye on Wednesday April 15 his Bahamian counterpart, His Excellency Obediah Wilchcombe, who carried out a fruitful visit to Cuba two days where he had the opportunity to develop a comprehensive plan of activities included among others an official meeting with the highest authorities of the Ministry of Tourism in Cuba, the travel agency Havanatur as well as a tour for places and institutions of interest in Cuba.
The Bahamian parliament first visited the island since taking power in 2012 and described the experience in management of a tourist destination that receives more than 6 million foreign visitors, as well as the growing interest of broadening and strengthening the links cooperation between the two countries in tourism issues and tourist intermediation.
