The Latinamerican company Copa Airlines has announced a new flight two times a week between Panama City and Holguin, in the eastern part of the island, begining next June 21st, on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
"With this operation, Holguín becomes in the third destination in Cuba, which will enhance connectivity between that country and the rest of the continent, and contribute to the development of tourism and trade opportunities,” said Pedro Heilbron, CEO of Copa Airlines. “We are committed to expanding connectivity to Cuba, helping raise its profile as a tourism and cultural epicenter of the region.”
Holguin offers visitors a travel experience that features over 40 beaches, a rich marine life, forests and other tourist attractions with extraordinary tourist importance.
The airline said it has timed the flight for convenient connections at the Hub of the Americas in Panama, which services a variety of locations in Latin America and the Caribbean.
