In the ranking composed of the best 25 beaches in the world, the Cuban is positioned only behind Grace Bay (Turks and Caicos Islands), and Baia Do Sancho, in Brazil.

The aforementioned spa city has 52 hotels, according to data provided in November by the delegation of the Ministry of Tourism in the province of Matanzas.
Last year, Cuba received around four million 700 thousand international visitors, and predicts that in the present calendar arrivals will reach, for the first time, the five million travelers.
