In the first month of this year, four thousand 468 Brazilians traveled from the South American nation to the Island, which represented an increase of 234.4 percent in relation to January 2016, according to the tourism advisor in charge of the attention of the Brazilian market, Mariano Fernández.
The remarkable performance achieved in the reference period enabled Brazil to relegate the second position among the markets that was most expanded to the Russian Federation, which issued 13,230 travelers and achieved a comparative increase of 202 percent.
Fernandez recalled that in 2017 the South American giant ranked 20th among the issuing markets, with 35 thousand 637 visitors and a rise of 155.88 percent compared to the previous year (22 thousand 862).
