Recently was announced the founding of the organization Cuba Engage Coalition, which is dedicated to promoting and supporting the elimination of restrictions on US business with Cuba, an organization that has found a loyal ally from the beginning to the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA).
The American association of travel agencies aims to achieve an opening in the tourism issue with Cuba, a very attractive market for US due to the proximity, natural resources and historical relations, hence the association has supported the opening of the coalition, and even others like CNBC or Fox News, mainly communication media.
ASTA´s executives seek to increase their profits and business portfolio with the opening of economic relations with the island, while establishing a solid foundation to serve the more than 2 million Americans who visit Cuba until 2017 if rise finally travel restrictions, according to estimates from official sources.
