Hotel Muthu Playa Varadero

The Hotel Muthu Playa Varadero is located in front of the sea in a location of large gardens next to a beautiful white sand beach. It was previously known as Hotel Playa de Oro.

Hundreds of thousands of tourists come to Varadero each year, the first tourist enclave in Cuba, mainly attracted by the more than 18 km of white sand beaches. The calm and clear waters and its color that varies from turquoise to deep blue, a good climate, little rain and low humidity are some of the conditions that make Varadero an ideal place throughout the year.

Located in the northernmost part of the island of Cuba, Varadero runs the length of the narrow Hicacos Peninsula for 22 km (more than 13.5 miles). It has a wide strip of fine white sand that gently descends to the sea, whose warm and clear waters enclose an incomparable range of blues. The peninsula is connected to the mainland by a drawbridge.

Its main attraction has always been its wonderful beach, but this is not all it has to offer. You can explore its caves and escarpments, an easily accessible necklace of virgin cays and a carefully preserved natural landscape in the extreme north east of the peninsula.
