The Hotel Habana Riviera by Iberostar, is located in front of the Malecon in Havana. This elegant hotel is considered a classic among Cuban hotels, it looks like something out of the 1950s in Las Vegas or Miami, a postcard takes you back to a very different time in the world.

The hotel was founded by the gangster Meyer Lanski in 1956, and in a very short time he entered the world of mafia transactions and gambling. The curious spherical structure to the side of the main building, painted in vibrant colors, was once a casino, acoustically designed so that the sound of chips and slot machines could be heard in the hotel and seduce guests to the game.

Elegant, comfortable and nuanced with a nostalgic air, the Hotel Habana Riviera is relatively close to most of the most renowned and the best nightclubs and restaurants in Vedado (the Jazz Café, Café La Habana, etc). Its proximity to the historical-cultural center of Havana makes this hotel the perfect place to explore the city. The spacious lobby bar sits alongside a row of oversized glass paneling that is almost literally by the water, and the Mirador de la Habana restaurant has great views of the coastline and the city. Apparently one of the best nightclubs in Havana, the Copa Room Cabaret is the scene of a Tropicana show and functions as a disco until dawn.

Thanks to the ingenious design of the building, all the spacious and comfortable rooms have sea views, thanks to the Y-shaped design of the building. Those looking for ultra-modern amenities can find the rooms a little dated in terms of furniture and decor, but 1950s-style lovers will feel right at home here.
