The Hotusa Group is a Spanish company based in Barcelona (Spain), and which is made up of a significant number of companies related to the most diverse areas of the tourism sector.
It originates from the independent hotel chain Hotusa Hotels, founded in 1977. Today, the Hotusa Group is made up of the independent hotel chains Hotusa Hotels and Elysées West Hotels; the hotel representative Keytel; the tour operator Restel; the management and online booking website Hotelius.com, the technology company IGM Web; the Eurostars Hotels chain, which comprises a total of 54 establishments; as well as 36 other hotels of direct exploitation.
In 2008, he received the Prince Felipe Award for Tourism Excellence, granted by the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce of Spain in recognition of his contribution to increasing the competitiveness of the Spanish tourism industry as well as consolidating its position in the international tourist market.
